THE PROCESS OF CHECKING STARTING BATTERIES WITH THE BATTERYMS DEVICE
Used to check the capacity of starting lead batteries – Lead acid, GEL or AGM.
In these solution, the “State of Health”(SoH) capacity which is calculated for starting the engine, is from 30 to 40% of the battery capacity, for example, a battery with a capacity of 100 A can start the engine as long as its residual capacity is above 30 – 40 Amperes.The device is permanently connected to the battery. INDICATIONS GIVEN BY THE DEVICE USING THE LED PANEL
A. Battery capacity and Battery “State of Health”(SoH) are normal.
- The green LED is on – the battery capacity is optimal, no recharging is required.
B. If the engine is not running, for example when the vehicle is parked or stored in a garage, the battery discharges
- Yellow LED is on – the capacity has dropped to 50% of the optimal battery capacity, it is necessary to start the engine to recharge the battery, it is recommended not to turn off the engine until the green LED lights up, Indication that the battery is charged more than 80 A
C. If the remaining capacity has dropped below the capacity required to start the battery(Battery is faulty)
- The Red LED is on – the battery is not charging above 30% – 40% of the optimal capacity, the battery is completely unusable and must be replaced.

BatteryMS states
- Battery full – constant signal Vbat appears when battery capacity is above 80%, and disappears when battery capacity is below 50%.
- Battery low – constant signal Vbat appears when battery capacity is below 50%, and disappears when battery capacity is above 80%.
- Replace battery – constant signal Vbat appears when battery capacity is below 30-40% of nominal capacity.
